OSHA compliant courses...From CPR, first aid, automated external defibrillator (AED) training to injury prevention courses, bloodborne pathogens training and community disaster preparedness education, ICE training offers complete, flexible programs that help your company stay prepared for virtually any life-threatening situation. First Aid/CPR/AED training courses combine lecture, demonstrations and video with hands-on training in a 'practice-while-you-watch' format. We will adapt our courses to meet the needs of your company.


Emergency Response - First Responder Training

This course is a 40-52 hour program put on at your organizations location. Emergency Responder is a comprehensive course designed for training first responders. The course follows the US Department of Transportation First Responder National Standard Curriculum and meets ECC Guidelines. Recognized by states as a first responder course and meets standards for riding on an ambulance. BR>


CPR - Adult

For the person who only needs adult CPR training, this hands-on skills training prepares them to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults. Adult CPR/AED is available in a course with AED training included. Available in English and Spanish




CPR - Child and Infant

Designed for those who care for children, either full time or occasionally, this course teaches participants how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children age 12 and younger. CPR for infants is available separately as a course that applies to infants up to 12 months; CPR for children is available separately and applies to children between the ages of 1 and 12. Available in English and Spanish.


CPR & AED for Adults, Children & Infants

CPR and AED for Adults, Children, and Infants is a workplace-focused, comprehensive training program in emergency resuscitation for the lay rescuer. It is designed to teach students how to perform resuscitation for patients of all ages who are victims of Sudden Cardiac Arrest, as well as those who are unresponsive or choking. CPR and AED for Adults, Children, and Infants includes training in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and can be combined with first aid training to help meet OSHA requirements for first aid training in the workplace.


AED - Adult

This course teaches individuals currently certified in CPR- Adult the skills and knowledge needed to provide care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest through the safe use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). AED - Child training is also available. Available in English and Spanish.



AED - Adult and Child

This course teaches individuals currently certified in CPR - Adult & Child how to safely use an AED to provide care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest. Updated to reflect the newest guidelines for the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), this versatile program offers treatment guidelines for all ages. Course materials include optional child care topics to help meet child care training requirements.


Standard First Aid with CPR/AED - Adult

Prepare your staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize, and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. This course covers first aid, adult CPR and AED training. First Aid and CPR training without learning AED skills is also available in a course.


Pediatric CPR & First Aid for Children, Infants & Adults

Pediatric CPR and First Aid for Children, Infants, and Adults is a CPR and first aid emergency medical response training program ideal for child care providers, youth sports coaches, teachers and parents. Updated to reflect the newest guidelines for CPR and first aid, this program follows the skills and instructional methodology of basic CPR and First Aid for Adults. Our pediatric version teaches appropriate emergency response skills and prevention strategies for the care of infants and children, as well as adults.


First Aid/CPR/AED for Schools & the Community

One of our most popular courses, it is great for community needs. This course combines lectures, demonstrations and video with hands-on training and practice. Participants in this course learn to recognize and respond to emergencies including shock, cardiac and breathing emergencies for adults, children and infants, heat and cold emergencies, sudden illnesses and poisonings. Additionally, participants will learn first aid for everything from cuts and scrapes to muscle, bone and joint injuries.


Sudden Cardiac Arrest Drill

This is a simulation drill designed to provide you with realistic hands-on experience while caring for a patient who has experienced sudden cardiac arrest. This drill is meant to be a learning tool, preparing you and your organization for the order and application of skills learned during a CPR/AED course. This drill is meant to be used as a hands-on real time practice after CPR/AED training or as a refresher, in conjunction with a bi-annual CPR and AED course. It runs approximately two hours, depending on class size, and students are met with immediate constructive feedback from the instructor and their peers. Students are then allowed to run through the drill again, implementing the ideas and feedback from the first run, in order to improve upon their performance. This is a truly beneficial learning tool, to assure you and your staff are thoroughly prepared for a Sudden Cardiac Arrest.


Babysitter's Training

The Babysitter's Training course has a unique interactive, educational format that tasks youth, ages 11-14 years of age, with activities such as identifying safety problems around the house and yard and selecting age-appropriate toys and games for children in their care. Participants learn by doing. This format, along with the course video and an enthusiastic instructor, keeps the interest of the babysitters and provides a meaningful classroom experience.


First Aid and Preparedness

Streamlined to fit into busy work schedules, this interactive presentation is ideal for employees who want to learn lifesaving skills, but do not need to receive certification to meet OSHA regulations. A 90-minute session is packed with information to help employees stay prepared with valuable lifesaving skills.



Basic Aid Training (B.A.T.)

This course, which may be led by any responsible adult, introduces 8-10 year-olds to the emergency action steps, Check, Call, Care as well as to basic first aid procedures. An activity book with puzzles and games teaches children how to prevent injuries and what to do in an emergency.



First Aid for Children Today (F.A.C.T.)

The FACT Critter Clan leads kids, aged 5-8, through health promotion and injury prevention activities. Its environmental theme teaches safety in a non-threatening way. Topics include: Hygiene and health habits; First aid; personal safety and Injury prevention.



Injury Control Modules

Focusing on common causes of worksite injuries and key health risks, these one-hour awareness-level modules highlight risks and promote prevention. Self-assessments help employees recognize risky habits. Demonstrations and lively discussions reinforce practical prevention tips. Modules include: Ergonomics; Slips, Trips and Falls; Back Injury Prevention; Workplace Violence Awareness; Managing Stress; and Your Heart Matters.


CERT - Certified Emergency Response Team

A Certified Emergency Response Team is a group of people within a company or organization that responds to emergencies within the company or organization as a "First Responder" which performs life saving skills until emergency medical services arrives. We will prepare your staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize, and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. This course covers first aid, adult CPR, AED training, splinting, bleeding control and many other EMS skills. (48-52 hours)


Sport Safety Training

ICE has an exciting program for coaches who want to keep their athletes safe. This course covers sports-related injury prevention, first aid care and Adult CPR. An optional Child CPR component may also be taken. This course is a must for coaches, officials and parents of athletes.



Bloodborne Pathogens Training Preventing Disease Transmission

This course meets OSHA's revised Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. This course teaches participants how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to prevent exposures and what to do if exposed to infectious materials.



Back Injury Prevention

This course is OSHA compliant...Back-related injuries result in missed workdays. With basic facts about the back, including home and work back maintenance tips, this program will help you foster a company-wide culture that embraces healthy and strong backs. Proper back care and injury prevention can prevent lost workdays. This program provides specific back care information and teaches employees healthy body mechanics and movement.


Fire Extinguisher

This course is OSHA compliant...Fire is a common workplace hazard and a leading cause of accidental death in the United States. Fire prevention is always the best safety policy to follow, but its not always possible. This program teaches your employees how to calmly and effectively deal with fires and correctly use a fire extinguisher. Closed-captioned and available in Spanish.


Eye Protection

This course is OSHA compliant...On-the-job eye injuries cost industries over $300 million each year. This training program will teach your employees how to protect their eyes from debilitating injury. They will learn what types of situations present danger to their eyes and the proper eye protection to use in response. Closed-captioned.


Personal Protective Equipment

This course is OSHA compliant...Personal Protective Equipment. According to OSHA, over 30% of all disabling injuries, ranging from face to foot injuries, could have been prevented with the right protective equipment. This program covers the various types of personal protective equipment, the right equipment for a variety of situations, and how to correctly use each type of equipment. Closed-captioned and available in Spanish.


Administering Emergency Oxygen

Gives participants the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to a victim of a breathing emergency using breathing devices, including resuscitation masks, bag-valve-mask resuscitators (BVMs) and emergency oxygen.




Pet First Aid

Pet First Aid is also available and is a handy reference guide for cat and dog emergencies. Created by the American Red Cross, Pet First Aid provides assistance to people whose pets are ill or injured. ICE offers a pet first aid course.
