When individuals such as yourself take this training, you may possibly make the difference between temporary disability or a life long disability or death for that patient. Our instructors are nationally registered emergency medical technicians and paramedics and also certified instructors by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Emergency care or treatment given to an ill or injured person before medically trained aid can be obtained often is their only chance for survival. This is designed to help you provide care to the patient for the first 5-10 minutes until advance care (ambulance) arrives; which is often the difference between life and death.
