If your pet suddenly became sick or injured· would you know what to do?
As pet owners we cannot call 9-1-1 for animal emergencies; your pet is relying on YOU to provide immediate and temporary care until you are able to reach a veterinarian or emergency clinic.
The Pet First Aid & Disaster Response Guide is designed to help pet owners provide temporary, urgent care to pets until they can reach a veterinaian or emergency clinic. The course will teach students to care for their animals before, during, and after an emergency.
The Pet First Aid & Disaster Response Course includes coverage of:
* Injury prevention and disaster preparation.
* Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
* Personal safety precautions to help pet owners identify and minimize risks.
* A wide array of pet emergencies including bleeding and bite wounds, cardiac arrest, choking, burns, poisoning, trauma, and more.
Pet First Aid & Disaster Response Courses are being held at Giggy Bites Bakery & Marketplace in the Olde Ridge Village in Chadds Ford Township at Route 202 and Ridge Road on April 03, 2010.
The class start time will be 9:00am to 1:00pm Located at 100 Ridge Road, Chadds Ford, PA 19317.
