Emergency Vehicle Operators Course
For Fire and EMS - 16 Hours Con-Ed
State approved FIRE/EMS E.V.O.C. course's will be held at the Delaware County Emergency Services Training Center on the following dates. The classes will be held from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday. Located at 1600 Calcon Hook Road, Sharon Hill, PA 19079.

Cost will be $77 for all emergency service personnel. You are buying a seat in a sold out class which has a waiting list, if you fail to cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the class start you are responsible for full payment. No exceptions!
Cost includes books and certificates. Participants will need to bring the apparatus that they will be driving on the second day of class if other then EMS. (Ambulance will be available)

ALL EVOC Classes sell out, seating will be on a "first registered - first seated basis" so please register early to ensure a seat in the class.Cancellation Policy - You are purchasing a seat in a sold out class, if not cancelled 5 days prior to the class, student/organization will be responsible for payment in full. Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC)
The Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) is designed to provide EMS operators with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely operate an Emergency Vehicle in emergency and non-emergency mode. The Pennsylvania Department of Health requires that all EMS operators take this course prior to driving an Emergency Vehicle. Topics covered include legal aspects of Emergency Vehicle operations, navigating and route mapping, driver roles and responsibilities, basic driving skills, and proper driving procedures. The course is 16 hours in duration and is held over a two-day period. The first day of the course is in the classroom. The second day of the course includes hands on Emergency Vehicle driving on a course. Participants will receive 16 hours of Pennsylvania continuing education credits upon successful completion of the course. This course has been produced by VFIS.
PA DOH Continuing Education
We are a certified continuing education sponsor credit site for The Pennsylvania Department of Health for CON Ed for First Responders, EMTs, Paramedics and other EMS Providers. We can put on any class your organization needs and use the hours towards your State Certification.
